Dirty Hair of Bantu Knot
I can't believe the weekend is almost over! Saturday night I gave my hair a great pre-poo. I spritzed my hair with water and rubbed coconut oil all over the strands. Then I rubbed olive oil on my scalp. I was a bit heavy handed with the water, and my pillow and sheets are paying the price. This morning I got up around 8:30am, and made my Bentonite clay hair mask. I had to make three different batches, because I did not mix enough the first time. I applied the mask, and waited twenty three minutes for the clay to work its magic. After rinsing out the clay my hair looked very clean, and felt softer than ever before. My hair was so soft, that finger detangling with my conditioner was a breeze. I swear ladies I have never had a easier, and quicker detangling session. The claim of more defined curls, I can't agree with because my 4b/4c curls looked about the same.
Bentonite Clay in my hair

The rest of my wash routine, was the same as always. After finger detangling I sat under my soft bonnet dryer for 20-25 minutes, with a plastic cap on my head. Then I rinsed my hair, taking extra care to make sure none of the clay was left in my hair. The second rinse was done with my ACV rinse. Next I applied my leave in conditioner mixture, and put my hair is this weeks protective plats.
